The Impact of E-Learning on the Performance and the Engagement of SME employees in Morocco
Abstract
Abstract :
This research examines the impact of e-learning on performance and employee engagement in SMEs in the Moroccan services sector, a key segment of the national economy. Using structural equation modelling, we analysed the relationships between e-learning quality, self-efficacy in using e-learning, employee engagement and job performance. The sample consisted of 200 Moroccan service SMEs, providing a diverse and representative dataset for the study.
The conclusions of our study present a nuanced perspective. While we found no support for the hypothesis that the quality of e-learning directly improves employee performance, the significant impact of self-efficacy on engagement and performance highlights the importance of employee confidence in the effective use of e-learning tools
