Abstract

In response to growing demands for sustainability and competitiveness, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has progressively emerged as a strategic lever capable of influencing organizational performance. This article provides a theoretical analysis of the role of CSR in enhancing logistics performance within the agri-food sector. Drawing on major theoretical perspectives, particularly stakeholder theory, the resource-based view, and institutional theory, the study highlights the mechanisms through which socially responsible practices can strengthen logistics efficiency, improve flow reliability, enhance service quality, and optimize cost control.

The article emphasizes that integrating CSR into logistics processes is not merely a response to regulatory and societal pressures, but also a strategic opportunity to develop sustainable competitive advantages. In the agri-food context, characterized by specific environmental, sanitary, and social constraints, CSR emerges as a structuring factor for the modernization and optimization of supply chains.

This contribution thus aims to propose a conceptual framework explaining the relationship between corporate social responsibility and logistics performance, paving the way for future empirical research in the context of the Souss-Massa region.
